The Middle Verde Cemetery in Camp Verde is the oldest publically accessible cemetery in the Verde Valley with the first burial taking place in 1876. Parson Bristow who led the first group of settlers to the Verde Valley along with the members of that early band of explorers have been laid to rest here.

Middle Verde Cemetery was the last stop when many of Apache Maid Cowboys and the Soda Springs Ranch were called to the Last Roundup.
